Seventy-Two
Our focus is to see the Kingdom of God and the love of Jesus revealed in our community – through demonstrations of God’s miraculous power. Our personal relationship with Jesus is at the heart of being a Christian, and our vision is within this context.
We will foster this through:
- Nurturing an atmosphere of fellowship and encouragement within the group;
- Training and equipping members to use the gifts of the Spirit; and
- Being actively involved in ministry on the streets.
The name 'Seventy-Two' is taken directly from Luke 10:1-24 and is where Jesus ‘appointed’ 72 people and sends them out to replicate his ministry.
