FAQs

Regular and planned giving should be a prayerful response from the heart, so before setting up a regular gift take time to pray and consider your monthly finances carefully. You may also want to discuss how much it right for you to give with family members or a trusted friend.

If you are a UK tax payer, please enter a ‘Gift Aid Declaration’ using the link above. This entitles us to reclaim the tax that you will have already paid on your gift, increasing its value by 25%. Please note that Christ Church will pay fees equalling 2.4% of your donation when you donate via the link above; if you would like to give regularly, setting up a standing order via your bank is the most efficient way to do so! Scroll down to find out more about giving financially and in other ways at Christ Church.

To set up a standing order, please visit your bank or use your online banking app and use the following details:
Name of our Account: The PCC of the Ecclesiastical P of CCR (Harrow)
(Note - your bank may accept shortened version of this name or you have to use it exactly as given above)
Sort Code: 40-11-58
Account Number: 10208221

Stewardship at Christ Church

We believe that God invites us as a church and as individuals to depend on Him for everything that we need and to discover His extraordinary provision as we learn to give generously. Giving money regularly is an important expression of gratitude and love for God that is part of our ongoing transformation, as well as an important way of demonstrating practical commitment to our church family.

We receive no financial support from the Government or the Church of England, other than the support of our vicar. As such, the mission and ministry of Christ Church depends almost entirely on the generous giving of our church family. We aim to carefully plan our annual budget to:

Sustain and grow our mission to Harrow and the wider world

Invest in paid staff who help us to develop our outreach, youth & children's work, worshipping life and administration (meet our paid staff as well as our wider leadership team here)

Maintain our church building and other premises to ensure they are fit for purpose.

If you have any questions or concerns about our finances please contact our Treasurer Ashok Thadi, churchwarden Paul Gabriel, or email the church office at admin@ccrharrow.org

Giving your time

Giving isn’t just about money, we also love to see everyone giving their time and energy to serve God’s Kingdom.

Over 100 people are usually involved in making our Sunday services happen: from serving coffee or welcoming at the door to joining a music team, we’re keen that everyone feels involved. Our charity shop found are always looking for new volunteers in a range of roles and also offer work experience and training in work/life skills.
