History

Christ Church was founded in 1862, built by the celebrated architect George Gilbert Scott. We have a rich history of passionate worship and work with local young people going back over 150 years.

Our graveyard is home to a number of Commonwealth War Graves as well as the final resting place of local figure William Henry Perkins. Extensive details of our WW1 memorial can be found here.

Our vision for church planting

Back in 1862, Christ Church was brought into being by St Mary’s Church, Harrow on the Hill. In turn, Christ Church played a signficant part in establishing St Paul’s South Harrow and reestablishing St Peter’s Harrow.

More recently, we have been building a shared vision for church planting as part of One Church Harrow, alongside St Paul’s South Harrow and St Peter’s Harrow. We have committed to planting new churches in Harrow and resourcing local churches across North West London to plant new churches into their communities.

Counting on your generosity

We believe that God invites us as a church and as individuals to depend on Him for everything that we need. As we learn to give generously, we discover again and again His extraordinary provision. The work of Christ Church Roxeth depends on the generous giving of our church family.
