Worship Team Leader

Part Time Role (22.5 hrs per week)

We are looking for someone with a worshipping heart and experience of leading sung worship to enable and grow our team of musicians, so that we can increasingly enjoy worshipping God as a church in ways that are relevant and accessible to the cultures present in our community.

Currently our two Sunday morning services seek to encourage worship in a range of musical styles: at our earlier service we are intentionally contemporary & charismatic, while our later ‘classic’ communion service is full of a variety of songs & hymns, with a fledgling small monthly choir. We have begun a journey in exploring intercultural worship.

The Worship Team Leader will be a key partner in our Leadership team sharing the direction and growth of our church.

There is genuine occupational requirement for the role holder to be a Christian.

The role is based on a 22.5 hrs per week role, (0.6 of 37.5hrs FTE role), with a salary of £14,400-16,800 depending on experience.
