Thinking of Visiting?
We’re really glad you’ve found us, and we’d love to welcome you to Christ Church Roxeth.
We’re a worshipping community learning what it means to be a living sanctuary, a people and a place of peace where everyone can grow in relationship with God and one another. Each Sunday, we gather to pray, worship, and hear from the Bible, drawing from both charismatic and contemplative traditions.
We offer a warm welcome and space to settle in at your own pace or just try us out. Whether you come with questions, curiosity, or faith of your own, we would love for you to join us one Sunday. You can find out more about our service below.
What to expect
1. Before the service
From 9.50 am, the doors are open. In the foyer you’ll be warmly welcomed, offered tea or coffee, and have time to find your seat in the church or chat before the service begins in the Main Church.
2. Live stream
If you’d like to see what we’re about first, we live stream part of our service each week from 10.45–11.15 am. You can join online here.
3. The start (10 am) & children’s groups
We begin together in the main church with uplifting songs, prayer, and a short all-age moment.
Around 10.10 am, children and young people head to their age-appropriate groups.
4. Worship & teaching
We continue in the church with sung worship led by a band, Bible teaching that connects faith with everyday life, and stories of how God is at work today.
5. Holy Communion & prayer
Most weeks we share bread and wine. Children usually rejoin us in the main service so we can come together as one church family. Prayer is always available, either during the service or afterwards in the church.
6. Afterwards
From 11.30 am, the café is open in the church hall with free drinks and snacks. This is a great time to meet people and you are warmly welcome.
Kid’s & Youth
At CCR, kids & youth are a big part of our family. We gather every Sunday to worship together, have fun, learn, and grow in faith in groups that match their age and their needs.
First Steps
(0-2 years)
A safe, warm space upstairs for prayer, stories and play. You’re welcome to stay with your child, or let our volunteers look after them if they’re settled.
Climbers (3-4 years)
& Explorers (5-10 years)
A fun, dedicated space in the downstairs hall to explore faith together.
The groups include worship, prayer, fun activities, games and teaching.
Pioneers
(11-17 years)
A chance to connect and follow the way of Jesus together.
We begin in worship and end with communion in the main church, with a relaxed breakfast in the lounge & discussion in between.
Wild Worship
Join us for
Join us for a worship experience in the beauty of the outdoors! On the first Sunday of every month at 11.30 am, we gather for worship in our lovely garden. Together, we'll explore God's creation, embrace the wonder of nature, and allow nature to inspire our reflections, prayers, and worship.
Come with an open heart, ready to be surprised by awe and connection with God's wonderful creation
