You are invited…

Join us on Sundays online or in our church building

Sunday Morning at CCR!

New to Christ Church? Whether you are exploring answers to life's big questions or firmly committed in your faith, you are warmly invited to try out church with us. If you’ve been watching our services online or are interested in joining us in the building then please do contact us to say hello, we’d love to hear from you.

We are beginning a new format for our Sunday worship from 14 May. Keep reading here to find out more…

We gather weekly, expecting to encounter God, devoting ourselves to His teachings and to prayer, to breaking bread together and loving one another as family. We live-stream our gatherings from the building on Sundays and you are warmly invited to worship with us whether online or in person. Join us for the whole morning, or come and go as you need to:

Please note, our worship and teaching is available to watch live online via YouTube and Facebook from 10.10-11am, and later via catch up.

  • Welcome & Worship

A lively welcome and music as all ages begin together in the main church at 10am. At 10.10am children are invited to their dedicated groups:

    • First Steps (0-2s) meet in the upstairs lounge for prayer, stories and play. You are welcome to stay with your child(ren) or leave them with our volunteers if they are settled in the group.10am children are invited to their dedicated groups:

    • Climbers (aged 3-4) and Explorers (reception to Yr 5) meet in the downstairs hall for worship, prayer, teaching, activities and games.

  • Bible Teaching

In the main sanctuary we continue with a time of informal contemporary worship for young people and adults (children are also welcome to stay with their carers if they prefer).

We then have an opportunity each week to immerse ourselves in God's story as we apply the truths of the Bible to everyday life, with teaching from our leadership team or guest speakers.

    * Please note, our worship and teaching is available to watch live online via YouTube and Facebook from 10.10-11am, and later via catch up.

  • Cafe & Family News

Our free cafe offering drinks and snacks in the church lounge opens just before 11am, an opportunity to meet others over conversation and coffee. Alternatively you can remain in the main church to continue worshipping or respond in prayer with members of our dedicated and confidential prayer team available.

NB. Children's groups for 0-11s finish at 11am. Pioneers (young people in school years 6 and upwards) will then meet from 11.15am-12pm for snacks, teaching, discussion and activities in the upstairs lounge.

Join back in the main church from 11.20am to hear family news and stories of faith in action shared by members of our church community in Harrow or around the world.

  • Prayer & Holy Communion

Time to reflect with prayer and confession, Holy Communion and songs and hymns. Including prayer for the needs of the world, our community and ourselves.

 Frequently Asked Questions

Find out more about our new Sunday service format:

  • Our live stream will be available from 10.10- 11am on Sunday mornings, and available to watch later on catch up. This will capture our sung worship and bible teaching, continuing to allow those who can’t make it in-person or who are exploring Christ Church to connect with what we’re doing.

  • We recognise that conversation & coffee are a vital ingredient in church life, creating opportunities to get to know one another and support each other as a family. Why tag such an important part of what we do on as an option at the end? Instead we’ve put it at the centre of who we are and what we do together.

  • We are responding to the desire for a greater sense of ‘oneness’ across our church family; we’ve also experienced the limitations of resourcing two services each week. Sunday Mornings with Christ Church now expresses a range of approaches and aspects to worship in one unified service, while increasing our time for prayer and worship.

  • We’d love for everyone to come from 10am-12pm, to take part in the full range and different aspects of our worship. However the morning is designed with multiple ‘entry’ and ‘exit’ points so that you can arrive or leave as needed, catering for those at different stages of faith or family life.

  • Our Pioneers group (school years 6- 11) will frequently stay in the main church for the worship and teaching, and then gather together to debrief and discuss from 11.15am. This means they will be able to get more involved and have opportunities to grow and serve on one of our Sunday morning teams if they would like to do so, alongside meeting in their own group.

OneChurch Everywhere

On the first Sunday of each month we don’t hold our usual Sunday services. Instead we are ‘One Church Everywhere’ with our friends across One Church Harrow. Join one of our local missional activities or groups at various times throughout the day to meet others, worship & serve together.

Sunday Talks & Teaching

All our services include teaching from our leadership team seeking to apply the truths of the Bible to everyday life. We record most of our talks in church so you can get a flavour of our Sunday teaching.
